Do you work with international clients?
Yes. At Kubic Design Solutions, we regularly work with international clients who own homes on the Costa del Sol—both residents and property owners who live outside of Spain. We understand the needs of those who aren’t always on-site and require a company capable of coordinating design, manufacturing, installation, and communication in a clear and organized manner to completely renovate their spaces with fully customized solutions.
Do you conduct the entire process in English?
Yes, we can handle the project in English throughout all its phases: meetings, proposals, estimates, construction supervision, coordination with other professionals, and communication with the client. This greatly simplifies the process for clients in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and other countries.
What sets Kubic apart from a traditional kitchen store?
Kubic is not a typical kitchen store that relies solely on prefabricated modules. We are a company that specializes in the design, manufacture, and installation of custom-made furniture. This allows us to tailor each project to the actual space, the home’s style, the client’s needs, and the technical details of the project.
In addition, we can coordinate the kitchen with other elements such as woodwork, furniture, bathrooms, outdoor spaces, or custom solutions to achieve a more cohesive look.
Are you designers, manufacturers, or installers of custom furniture?
We do all three. At Kubic, we handle the design, manufacture custom furniture, and manage the installation. This allows us to have greater control over the final result, the construction details, the finishes, and the coordination between the different phases of the project.
Can I visit your workshop before making a decision?
Yes, you can visit our workshop by appointment. It’s important to us that our customers can see how we work, view materials and finishes, observe our manufacturing processes, and better understand the level of detail required for a custom project.
Can I see completed projects or reviews from other clients?
Yes, you can check out our portfolio to see some of the projects we’ve completed on the Costa del Sol. What Kind of Projects Do We Undertake?
Do you only design kitchen furniture, or do you also design other custom furniture?
We don’t just work on kitchen renovation and remodeling projects. We design and build custom furniture for different areas of the home: walk-in closets, wardrobes, bathrooms, living rooms, TV stands, laundry rooms, pantries, doors, decorative paneling, outdoor furniture, and special carpentry solutions.
In addition to indoor kitchens, do you design outdoor kitchens?
Yes. We design outdoor kitchens tailored to the climate of the Costa del Sol, with special attention to the durability of the materials, sun exposure, humidity, wind, maintenance, and longevity.
Can you coordinate the kitchen, furniture, and other elements?
Yes. One of our strengths is our ability to coordinate the kitchen with other aspects of the project: custom furniture, finishes, countertops, appliances, lighting, doors, cabinets, laundry rooms, and outdoor furniture. This allows us to create a home that is more cohesive both aesthetically and functionally.
We even work with contractors who can carry out any construction work needed to adapt the spaces to the client’s wishes.

What Is the Work Process Like?
How do you get started on a custom design project with Kubic?
The process usually begins with an initial conversation to understand the type of project, the condition of the home, the client’s needs, the desired style, the timeline, and the approximate budget. From there, we analyze the available information and determine the next steps: a site visit, measurements, a design proposal, or an initial estimate.
What information do you need during the initial contact?
The more information we have, the more accurate the initial analysis will be. We usually need to know:
- Location of the home.
- Project type: kitchen, cabinets, bathrooms, outdoor furniture, partial renovation, etc.
- Blueprints or approximate measurements, if available.
- Photos or videos of the current space.
- Desired style or reference images.
- Approximate timeframes.
- Whether the home is under construction, being renovated, or already completed. Or if you need construction work done by Kubic
- Whether an architect, contractor, or property manager is involved.
How do you define the design of a kitchen or any other project?
Design is defined by combining aesthetic, functional, and technical elements. We analyze the layout, actual measurements, utilities, materials, ergonomics, storage, appliances, and the overall style of the home. We then develop a proposal that may include floor plans, renderings, materials, and a budget.
The goal is not only for the project to look good, but also for it to function properly in everyday use and to be manufactured and installed with precision.
We even work with contractors who can carry out any construction work needed to adapt the spaces to the client’s wishes.
What happens if I want to make changes during the process?
Changes are normal during the design phase. They can be reviewed and adjusted as long as the project has not yet entered production or the change does not affect items that have already been produced, ordered, or installed.
When a change affects measurements, materials, appliances, countertops, hardware, or manufacturing lead times, we conduct a technical review and, if necessary, update the estimate and timeline.
How long can a project take, from the first meeting to installation?
It depends on the size and complexity of the project. A custom kitchen or custom furniture may involve several phases: design, taking measurements, selecting materials, budgeting, approval, manufacturing, and installation.
As a general guideline, the production of custom woodwork typically takes between 10 and 12 weeks from the final confirmation of measurements, materials, and design. In addition, there is the time required for design and coordination, which can vary depending on the project.
If I'm not always on the Costa del Sol
How can I choose a reliable kitchen company on the Costa del Sol if I live outside of Spain?
The most important thing is to choose a company that can communicate clearly, document the process, coordinate with other professionals, and offer realistic solutions. If the client lives outside of Spain, it’s not enough to simply sell a kitchen: it’s necessary to effectively manage timelines, decisions, measurements, construction, manufacturing, and installation.
At Kubic, we’re used to working with international clients and maintaining constant communication so that clients can make decisions even when they aren’t physically at the property.
Can I start the project if I live in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, or any other country?
Yes. Many projects can begin remotely using floor plans, photos, video calls, style references, and coordination with trusted individuals at the property. Later, as the project progresses, we schedule meetings to finalize all the necessary details and measurements on-site.
Can you coordinate with my property manager, architect, or contractor?
Yes, we can coordinate with property managers, architects, builders, interior designers, marble workers, and other professionals involved in the project. This coordination is especially important when the home is undergoing renovations or when the client does not live in Spain.
Is it essential to be present at any point during the process?
It is not always necessary, though it is recommended for important decisions such as the final selection of finishes, design review, or final delivery. If the client cannot be present, we can proceed using samples, photographs, videos, video calls, and coordination with an authorized representative.
However, please keep in mind that it’s always best to see the materials in person, since colors can appear different on a screen and you can’t appreciate the textures.
How will we communicate during the project?
Communication can take place via email, WhatsApp, phone calls, or video calls, depending on the client’s preference and the stage of the project. Important decisions, quotes, changes, or technical confirmations will always be communicated via email to ensure there is a record and to avoid any potential confusion.
Will I have a point person throughout the entire process?
Yes. The client will have a designated contact person to centralize communication, answer questions, coordinate changes, and monitor the project. This helps ensure that information isn’t lost between the design, manufacturing, suppliers, and installation phases.
Price, Estimate, and Comparison
What is the estimated price of a custom kitchen?
The price depends on many factors: kitchen size, materials, type of finish, hardware, interior systems, countertop, appliances, lighting, installation complexity, custom design, shipping, cabinet height, integration with the building structure, and level of customization.

Why does a custom outdoor kitchen cost more than an indoor kitchen?
An outdoor kitchen requires more durable materials and solutions. It must withstand sunlight, humidity, temperature fluctuations, rain, salt exposure, wind, and heavy use.
That is why a well-designed outdoor kitchen should not be thought of as an indoor kitchen placed outdoors, but rather as a project specifically designed for the outdoors.
What does Kubic's quote include, and how long is it valid?
The quote may include design, manufacturing, materials, hardware, finishes, shipping, installation, countertops, appliances, or other items, depending on the defined scope. Each quote specifies what is included; as always indicated in our quotes, anything not specified therein is excluded.
The validity of the estimate is indicated in each proposal. It is important to note that prices may vary if there are changes in materials, dimensions, brands, product availability, or construction conditions.

How can I properly compare several kitchen quotes?
To compare quotes properly, it’s not enough to just look at the final price. It’s important to review:
- Whether the furniture is standard or custom-made.
- Materials and thicknesses of the hulls, doors, and finishes.
- Types of hardware and interior systems.
- Brand and model of household appliances.
- Type and brand of countertop.
- If it includes shipping, installation, and finishing touches.

Materials, Quality, and Durability
What materials do you use to make custom kitchens?
We work with different materials depending on the project, but the most common ones are:
- Lacquered MDF or veneered MDF for the doors;
- high-quality melamine for the hulls;
- porcelain tiles, natural stone, or sintered stone for countertops.
The choice depends on the use, style, budget, location, and technical conditions of each home.
What materials do you recommend for outdoor kitchens in homes near the ocean?
For homes near the ocean, we recommend materials that are resistant to moisture, salt, and sun exposure. In general, it’s best to use outdoor-grade solutions, porcelain countertops or sintered stone, suitable structures, durable hardware, and finishes that can withstand the coastal environment. In outdoor kitchens, we typically use compact laminate for cabinet bodies and solid surface for doors and countertops.
It is also important to avoid materials that can warp, rust, or deteriorate quickly if they are not designed for outdoor use.
Can I choose specific brands, finishes, or materials for my project?
Yes. We can work with specific brands, finishes, or materials if they are technically suitable for the project. We can also advise the client when a particular choice is not recommended due to maintenance, durability, availability, cost, or compatibility with the design.
Do you have a kitchen catalog?
We don’t work with a fixed catalog or standard models. At Kubic, every kitchen is custom-designed and built based on the space, the customer’s needs, and the home’s style.
We can certainly show you completed projects, materials, finishes, and solutions to inspire you, but you won’t have to choose from a limited selection of models. Our job is precisely to create a kitchen designed just for you—not to adapt your home to a catalog.
