Complete renovation of the kitchen, living room, and walk-in closets in Sotogrande
A complete renovation featuring a custom-built open kitchen with an integrated living area, a restored fireplace wall, and a hidden TV system, as well as custom cabinets for the bedroom. All designed and built by Kubic Design Solutions.

Redefining the use of space
IDEA
When Honor Harris decided to renovate her home in Sotogrande, the brief was clear:
open up the spaces, modernize the layout, and create storage solutions tailored to her and her husband’s lifestyle.
The final result—shown in the video and the “after” photos—is a bright, functional home with meticulous attention to detail, where every element has been specifically designed for the space.
Concept and planning
DESIGN PROCESS
Open kitchen, created from three separate rooms
The original layout included an old kitchen, a bedroom, and a laundry room. The three rooms were combined to create the spacious, open kitchen-dining area you see today.
Every element of the kitchen has been custom-made in our own workshop, including:
Custom Furniture and Storage Solutions
Clean, seamless lines and balanced proportions
A hidden office space, seamlessly integrated into the complex
A functional and minimalist design, tailored to a family’s daily routine
The contrast between before and after is striking: what used to be a series of dark, enclosed spaces is now the true heart of the home.
Fireplace wall: renovation that preserves the original hearth
The fireplace was already there, but the wall surrounding it needed structure and cohesion.
The entire area was renovated while keeping the original fireplace in place.
The following were added:
A custom-made Dekton countertop
Custom shelving, made in our workshop
A hidden compartment for storing network equipment and wiring
The result is a cleaner, more architectural design, without losing the warmth and character of the original fireplace.
On the opposite wall of the living room, a hidden TV unit with distressed-mirror doors
On the opposite side of the living room, a completely independent, custom-made feature was designed and installed:
a concealed TV system integrated into a custom metal structure.
Includes:
Handcrafted folding doors with aged mirror panels
A smooth and precise folding mechanism
A clean, decorative facade when the TV is not in use
The screen is completely hidden, creating a clean and elegant look
This combination creates balance in the space: a warm, modern fireplace on one side and a discreet, sophisticated technological solution on the other.
Custom walk-in closets for both clients
Honor and her husband had very specific needs, so each walk-in closet was designed entirely around their personal routines.

I was looking for a comprehensive system, so we created:
Custom drawer systems for T-shirts, polo shirts, and accessories
Removable shoe inserts
Modules sized according to your clothing
Integrated lighting
Layouts designed to ensure everything is accessible and organized

The Honor Dressing Room includes:
Custom-made drawers
Shelving for hats, bags, and accessories
Specific removers for shoes and handkerchiefs
Integrated, soft lighting
A layout designed for comfort, organization, and ease of use
Each piece is handcrafted by our carpenters and custom-made to ensure a perfect fit.
